He is petty, irritating, irresponsible and has his employees run errands for him; often uses these errands in exchange for something else. However, if one is unable to finish this task, regardless of excuses he will refuse to cooperate. Mr. Kato also overlooks people's hard work and without as much look at it, he dismisses it immediately and chooses something else he likes instead.

It should be about loving one another enough to stay even when it's hard, not working hard to prove you deserve to stay. And then Maddie sits beside him and lays out this vision of romantic (one that is decidedly romanticized, unrealistic, a fantasy that can't provide any kind of real, stable love, not the kind Buck is looking for). I really like this pairing and, in the end, I can see why Arata falls for MC and why she for him. It was a little better done than in Taiyo’s route, so I’m very satisfied with it.

With all the flashier titles in their catalog, Love Calls You Home is one of their underrated gems. It doesn’t come with all the gimmicks and angst of some of their more popular Otome Romance titles, so it’s pretty easy to overlook this unassuming slice-of-life romance. The only “gimmick” is that a majority of the guys are secretly famous or have lucrative careers. I kind of got the impression that this was what Voltage was going for with their older title, Serendipity Next Door, which has a similar premise. Those bits aside, I did enjoy playing Arata’s main story, the premise was good and the pacing was really well done.

He kind of acts like he did nothing wrong, meanwhile the MC is clearly shaken by the event and AVOIDS him for a few chapters because of it. He does apologize later for his actions, but even with that bit of retconning the whole thing kind of leaves of a bad taste in your mouth. You head to the Gokurakuji Station where you run into Kanon, the moody station master cat, and hop onto the train bound for Yokohama. It's packed to the brim due to morning rush hour, and you're jostled right into a cute brown-haired young man wearing a hoodie. He offers you his chest so you won't be squashed into the other passengers, and his arms around you feel so comforting you actually drift off for a moment.

Hazuki's Route

You wish you had someone waiting at home for you to make you feel better. He tells you he can tell how hard you've been working lately, echoing the line from your dream that morning. He outstretches his arms to you, saying he'll give you a hug anytime you're going through a rough time. Because doesn't that just sum up all of the problems with the way Buck has tried to find love? Because it shouldn't be about working hard to make your partner fall in love with you over and over again. It shouldn't be about giving everything you have to prove yourself.
